Balanced electrolytes.

Sodium, potassium and magnesium, dosed for a pregnant body, not a gym session. Never so much it tastes like the sea.

Pregnancy-grade ingredients

Designed by a specialist midwife for pregnancy, labour, recovery and breastfeeding. Not pregnant? Help yourself.

Your prenatal's plus-one.

Your prenatal covers the vitamins. This covers the electrolytes. Nothing doubles up.

The science bit

Why there's a little glucose in here.

Sugar gets a bad press, and most of the time it's earned. Lots of electrolyte drinks leave it out completely, because "zero sugar" looks good on the front of a box. But your body likes salt and sugar to go in together, hand in hand. So we followed the body, not the trend. Built around how your body actually works, not how a label looks.

That's why there's a little sugar in here. About half a teaspoon per sachet, just the right amount to partner the salt. Not a sugar rush. Not a sports drink. Nothing in this sachet is just along for the ride.

A cute glucose molecule holding the key that lets a happy water droplet through the door

Low sugar

Less sugar than a satsuma. Just enough to partner the salt.

Essential

Electrolytes in every sachet, balanced for pregnancy: sodium, potassium and magnesium.

20%

of your daily magnesium, in every single sachet.

Zero

Fake colours, flavours or sweeteners. Nothing you'd need to Google.

When will my card be charged?+

Your payment is taken when you place your pre-order. This reserves your box from the November production run and guarantees priority dispatch.

What if my baby is due in November?+

Pre-orders dispatch first, at the start of November, via tracked delivery. If your due date is early November, order now and you'll be at the front of the queue - or drop us a message and we'll do our best to get you to the front of the queue.

Is isomum safe in the first trimester and while breastfeeding?+

Yes. isomum was formulated by a specialist midwife to be safe and supportive across all trimesters, during labour and birth, and throughout postpartum and breastfeeding.

Why did the formula change?+

Two reasons. First, we added a little sugar, about half a teaspoon per sachet. The lining of your gut has special doorways that only open for salt and sugar together. That's how your body is built, so we built the formula around it, not around a "zero sugar" trend. Second, we took out the vitamins. Most women are already taking a prenatal, and we wanted you to be able to take ISOMUM alongside yours without wondering whether you're doubling up.

What do electrolytes actually do, and do I need them?+

Electrolytes are minerals like sodium, potassium and magnesium. Your body uses them every day to manage fluid and keep your muscles and nerves working normally. Most of the time, a varied diet gives you everything you need, and nobody needs an electrolyte drink with every meal. But there are stretches of life when eating and drinking well gets harder: morning sickness, a long labour, hot weather, or broken nights with a newborn. That's when getting what you need from food alone isn't always realistic, and an electrolyte drink can help fill the gap. Magnesium, for example, contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. If sickness in pregnancy means you can't keep food or fluids down, speak to your midwife or GP. That needs proper care, not a sachet.

What happened to the original flavour?+

It sold out after our UK StartUp Awards win, which was a nice problem to have. Raspberry Lemonade takes its place for now: brighter, fresher, and in a box too good to hide in the cupboard. The original flavour is back in the new year, in the new formula and the new look.

Launch stock won't hang about.
